My name is Bev Topp and I'm running for state House of Representatives in District 36B, which covers southern Dakota County including all of Farmington and a portion of Lakeville, as well as Goodhue County. Thank you for visiting my online campaign headquarters. This is an exciting election year, both across America and right here in our community. I plan on running a campaign focusing on real progress for Minnesota. For too long, Minnesota has been held back by people who follow the 'go-slow, no-go, veto' method of governance. I know families in this community can't wait any longer for the policies that help them to maintain their quality of life, rather than threaten it. We can do better in the areas of job growth, education, health care and infrastructure investment. Bev Topp, DFL-endorsed candidate for House of Representatives in District 36B, officially filed her affidavit of candidacy July 11. A lifelong resident of Dakota County and longtime community leader, Topp has said she is running to ensure District 36B residents have a representative in the legislature who understands how and is willing to work with others to move Minnesota forward in a positive and sustainable way. |
